Team Training (000005)

Overview

The course is designed for all employees that are operating in a team environment. All members of a team are encouraged to take the course at the same time. The course will address various aspects of team development and group dynamics. Participants will complete their own personal profile. Activities during the class will help the participant better understand how their team works and the role that each team member can best play as well as how to work together better as a team. The course utilizes training materials from Blanchard Training and Development.

Objectives

The participants will build a firm foundation for the establishment and maintenance of their own high performing team.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • describe the importance of a group and how to create a better working environment
  • describe high performing teams
  • describe the stages groups move through to become a high performing team
  • identify group dynamics patterns
  • describe the Johari Window as a model for increasing interpersonal and group awareness, communication and trust
  • describe how four basic leader behavior concepts influence group development
  • identify and describe your preferred conflict management style

Twenty hours
