Soil Science Institute II - Soil Geomorphology (000142)Soil Science Institute II is offered in even numbered years. Soil Science Institute I is offered in odd numbered years. OverviewThis training presents an integrated earth science approach to soils and geomorphology. The purpose is to expand the field skills and conceptual knowledge needed to generate and deliver scientifically accurate soil geomorphology and soil inventory products. The course provides a comprehensive treatment of key soil geomorphic principles and practices including process geomorphology, soil hydrology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, soil genesis and classification, appropriate tools (traditional and emerging), and related current topics in soil science. Duration3 weeks Target AudienceAny soil scientists and others who meet the prerequisite listed above and who can benefit from this kind of formal training.
